High School Musical alum Ashley Tisdale made LAX her personal runway earlier this week, disembarking with Martin Johnson, the lead singer of indie pop outfit Boys Like Girls, and rocking an “I’m with the Band” type getup.
The Jewelery
What says, “I’m not so innocent” without totally tarnishing the Disney name? A dreamcatcher-inspired charmy necklace draped over a sheer black long sleeved T revealing a black bra, that’s what! This layered one-two punch is voyeuristic without being desperate, and the natural wilderness girl pendants draw attention away from the ladies.
The Shoes
You can’t runaround with a musician—spawning rumors you’re an item—without proving you can runaround in black suede ankle boots. These Jagger-esque platforms could fit in onstage, or in a high school gym dance number, as the occasion may demand.
The Skinnies
There’s a sheen to these pleasingly faded red pants that leaves us asking “Are they leather? Are they leggings? Does it matter?” Leather or not, they’re practically painted on, yet manage to pass our Don’t Wear Leggings As Pants rule. How’d they do that?
The Jacket
The Navajo-indebted black and white sweater coat is a nice counterpoint to the necklace, and blankety things are still so hot right now. Plus the pattern clash with the LV luggage only adds to the overall appeal.
