Kicking off her week with some retail therapy, Ashley Tisdale was spotted shopping in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon (March 8).The “High School Musical” actress spent some time and money at Planet Blue boutique, emerging with a bagful of finds.And of course, Ashley was looking cute and casual as she strolled past the paparazzi in a black hoodie, lime green top, and black leggings.Prior to her retail romp, Miss Tisdale tended to her physical fitness with a trip to her local gym for an intense workout.

Ashley Tisdale kept her head low this morning (March 8th) as she tried to escape the paparazzi as she made her way out of Planet Blue in Hollywood. Ashley stopped off at the store to do a little shopping after she did her daily workout at the gym. Looking cute in some cropped tights, a loose tank, and big sunglasses, Ash quickly looked through the store and left with a bag of purchases.

Kellan Lutz, Ashley Tisdale and Brittany Snow are all tapped to star in A Misfits Christmas, a story about eight friends spending the holidays together. The cast centers around eight characters. The film will serve as the directorial debut for writer Michael Tabb. He describes the project as “an escalating drama about eight friends who spend consecutive Christmas Eve’s together during their four years of college.

As we drop in on them annually. we watch the characters lose their innocence and form a dysfunctional family with interwoven relationships.”Sounds like a fun film!

Now that Ashley Tisdale has gone back blond, she has to take extra care to make sure her hair stays healthy. The other day she tweeted that she had to cut off 3 inches because of the dye job. That’s no fun! She has gone back blond for a project, but we don’t know which project yet. Ashley and her mom Lisa Tisdale visited the salon together in West Hollywood, CA yesterday (March 2).As reported by modOration, Ashley Tisdale is set to star in “Teen Witch”. They are turning the film into a musical and Ashley will sing for it. I’m looking forward to seeing Ashley on the big screen again!

The flick is a new spin on the ‘dysfunctional family Christmas movie, only with sexy young people in a tropical Southern California location. Ashley was spotted out with boyfriend Scott Speer in Malibu over the weekend.

The actress, who plays Sharpay Evans in the HSM franchise, was clearly embarrassed to be caught without a face full of slap as she hid behind her sunnies and her beau. The couple were shopping at Planet Blue in Malibu but also stopped for drinks at The Coffee Bean.We think Ash looked fresh faced and beautiful as she shopped. It was nice to see her looking like any girl grabbing coffee with her beau at the weekend would.

The cast list (rumored one that is) for High School Musical 4: East Meets West keeps getting longer and longer. According to IMDB, the cast list includes the actors/actresses from High School Musical 3 that were told they wouldn’t be coming back. That’s right – Matt Prokop, Jemma McKenzie Brown and Justin Martin have been added to the list. Remember, it’s a rumored list, but they weren’t there just a few days ago!

Also on the list….Ashley Tisdale reprising her role as Sharpay Evans! Interesting. If you have seen HSM3, then you know they left the ending open for Ashley to come back. I can definitely see that as a possibility. As for the others – Matt, Jemma and Justin – I am just not sure. according to Sterling Knight (who has auditioned for the movie), the film is going to revolve around soccer and not basketball. The movie is still reportedly casting, and still reportedly set to release in 2010 AND Ashley Tisdale dyed her hair back blonde for a movie role she said. Hmmm….it’s such a mystery. Today however, we come with great news for all you Tisdale lovers...The HSM star has been chatting about her latest project, a remake of 80s film Teen Witch, that already sounds like it’s going to be awesome anyway, but now Ash is going to raise the awesometer (that is a word honest) by making it an all singing all dancing extravaganza!

Miss Tis said: “In the original my character Robin Lively didn’t sing at all, even though all the other girls performed. But the studio phoned and said, ‘Hey you’re a singer right?’ They reworked the script so it can be more of a musical.”

Yay, Ash is back doing musicals! Suddenly the world’s balance seems to be restored and we can fill ourselves with the happiness that can only come from prancing around to the sounds of high school kids singing in the corridors!The film is about a teenager who finds out she’s a descendant of the Salem witches and uses her powers to bag the guy she has a massive crush on… We wonder if she could get Ed Westwick to fancy us back?

As The Tiz recently reported, “In the original, [my character] Robin Lively didn’t sing at all, even though other girls performed. But the studio said, ‘Hey, you’re a singer, right?’ They reworked the script so it can be more of a musical.”

“The plan is to start filming at the end of the year, so you can expect it to be a lot more modern than the [1989] original. I’m really excited about it. I think it’s going to be so much fun! Fans of the original will love it I think, and as far as it being different, I can tell you it will be a lot more current.”

Wait, so the remake is more modern than the original? What a revolutionary concept, Ash! In Teen Witch, the not-so-teenaged Tiz (now 24) will play a high school outcast who uses her inherent powers of witchcraft to woo a cute boy and make herself popular. We wonder if that’s how she finagled her way into singing, too?
