Things have been a little quiet on the Ashley Tisdale front recently, which seeing as we think she’s amazing, is not good for us! Today however, we come with great news for all you Tisdale lovers...The HSM star has been chatting about her latest project, a remake of 80s film Teen Witch, that already sounds like it’s going to be awesome anyway, but now Ash is going to raise the awesometer (that is a word honest) by making it an all singing all dancing extravaganza!

Miss Tis said: “In the original my character Robin Lively didn’t sing at all, even though all the other girls performed. But the studio phoned and said, ‘Hey you’re a singer right?’ They reworked the script so it can be more of a musical.”

Yay, Ash is back doing musicals! Suddenly the world’s balance seems to be restored and we can fill ourselves with the happiness that can only come from prancing around to the sounds of high school kids singing in the corridors!The film is about a teenager who finds out she’s a descendant of the Salem witches and uses her powers to bag the guy she has a massive crush on… We wonder if she could get Ed Westwick to fancy us back?

How cool does Teen Witch sound? We don’t reckon it’ll be out until next year but we’re happy and excited nonetheless, are you looking forward to seeing Ashley doing what she does best again? Comments please!

Not only did Ashley Tisdale snag the lead role for an upcoming remake of the `80s original, Teen Witch, but now she’s reportedly steering the film in a musical direction, showcasing her stellar singing skillz. As The Tiz recently reported, “In the original, [my character] Robin Lively didn’t sing at all, even though other girls performed. But the studio said, ‘Hey, you’re a singer, right?’ They reworked the script so it can be more of a musical.”

“The plan is to start filming at the end of the year, so you can expect it to be a lot more modern than the [1989] original. I’m really excited about it. I think it’s going to be so much fun! Fans of the original will love it I think, and as far as it being different, I can tell you it will be a lot more current.”

Wait, so the remake is more modern than the original? What a revolutionary concept, Ash! In Teen Witch, the not-so-teenaged Tiz (now 24) will play a high school outcast who uses her inherent powers of witchcraft to woo a cute boy and make herself popular. We wonder if that’s how she finagled her way into singing, too?

On the career front, Tizzie has been keeping busy working on her current project “Phineas & Ferb,” and already has her next gig in the bag. Ashley will be working with Brittany Snow and Kellan Lutz on a new flick called “A Misfits’ Christmas,” due out this winter.

Blonde beauty Ashley Tisdale showed off a pretty Burberry dress last night (February 23) as she attended the Burberry Porosum 2010 show in 3D. Ashley watched all the latest fashions in special 3D, along with other guests at the Milk Studios in Los Angeles.

“Goin to the Burberry Prorsum Event! Can’t wait!!!” Ashley tweeted on her way to the event. Earlier in the day, Ash was in the recording studio working on Phineas & Ferb before heading out for the night.

Showing off her new wheels,  Ashley Tisdale was spotted driving her Porsche in Los Angeles, California yesterday afternoon. The “High School Musical” babe took her pup with her to visit a friend, stepping out of the car to find a gaggle of shutterbugs waiting for her.

On Saturday, Miss Tisdale showed her disdain for the paparazzi by literally running from her car to her home in Toluca Lake. As for what she’s listening to these days- Tizzie tweeted, “Michael Buble is too cute in his music video “Haven’t Met You Yet”!! I love it!”

Making a mad dash from the paparazzi,  Ashley Tisdale was spotted running from her car to her home in Toluca Lake, CA on Saturday. With a silly smirk on her face, the “High School Musical” cutie quickly escaped the camera clicks as she disappeared inside.

It sounds like Tizzie is also taking care of business today. A short while ago, she tweeted, “Lunch meeting!”
Earlier in the week, Ashley also opened up via Twitter saying, “Michael Buble is too cute in his music video “Haven’t met you yet”!! I love it!”

Pairing up for the day’s agenda,  Ashley Tisdale was spotted catching a ride with her boyfriend Scott Speer in Studio City, California on Saturday. Doing her best to elude paparazzi, the “Aliens In the Attic” actress hopped into her music video director beau’s ride following a midday meal at The Marmalade Cafe.

Tweeting to her fans about her day’s doings, Tizzie kept it short and sweet, writing, “Lunch meeting!”Earlier in the day, Miss Tisdale stepped out in some sexy workout gear as she hit up the local gym for her routine workout session.

According to  celebrity-gossip.net , “High School Musical,” movie star and singer, Ashley Tisdale was spotted yesterday,hopping into her boyfriend’s ride after having a quick lunch,and running from the paparazzi cameras. They say she was spotted catching a ride with her boyfriend, Scott Speer in Studio City,California yesterday. She was doing her best to get away from the annoying paparazzi,but know one ever really gets away from the paps.

They got some good snap shots of her jumping into her boyfriend Scott Speer’s ride. He is also the director of her music video. She had just got done having a mid-day meal at the “Marmalade” cafe. She also tweeted to her fans about what she was doing yesterday. She wrote, “Lunch meeting!” Also, earlier in the day,Ashley was caught running from the paps again,while trying to head to the local gym. She looked really good in her black workout gear. One of her new,upcoming movie projects will be a movie called, “Teen Witch.” Hmm, sounds interesting.

Ashley Tisdale, who has done a lot of voice work with the Disney Channel series “Phineas and Ferb” and has also lent her voice to an episode of “Family Guy,” is now lending her voice to the TV show “The Cleveland Show.”

Ashley will be the voice of the character Lacey Stapleton and will appear in three different episodes. Lacey is a wealthy rival of Roberta’s (the Tubbs family’s daughter). Roberta will compete with Lacey to see who can get the most fame at school. The first episode is titled “The Curious Case of Jr. Working at the Stool,” which will air on February 21st on FOX. The next two episodes A.Tis’ character can be seen on are titled “Brian Writes a Best Seller” which airs later this year, and “And Then There Were Fewer” which is set to air in September 2011. Who’s planning on tuning in to watch Ashley’s episodes?

Disney has been making great careers for people and it seems that they will always be making stars out of them. Names like Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears were not gone when we have had a pool of newcomers from Disney Town! Some of the names are- Miley Cyrus- Of course she has her daddy in the trade. But the girl has surely got the talent. She is a wonderful actress and we should be thankful to Disney for discovering this talent and giving it us. Although the show in which she plays Hannah Montana (and apparently which is the name of the show) is pretty famous all across the world than her in reality!

Hillary Duff- This blonde is a singer as well as an actress. She became a household name with the Disney series called Lizzie McGuire. Then she has acted in some movies and got her own music album as well. Hope to see more of her in future. Ashley Tisdale- She started her career when she was 3! She was discovered unbelievably in a mall! But it was Disney who finally shaped her career with The Suit Life of Zack and Cody and High Musicals!
