Andie writes to us, “Ashley Tisdale’s concert at The Grove was soooo much fun!!! I lost my voice from screaming as loudly as I did! When I showed up hours before the concert was scheduled to start, I didn’t expect to be lucky enough to pose for a pic with TWO super Suite stars. I was at the parking lot when I saw Ashley.”

She continued, “I approached her and asked for her autograph. She was nice enough to sign both my Tinker Bell bag and my HSM3 DVD, which have now become my most prized possessions. Ashley and Brenda were both soooooooo sweet and couldn’t have been friendlier!

Ashley Tisdale knows it sounds silly, but her new album has a lot to do with the color of her hair."For the last few years everyone has thought of me as Sharpay," the 23-year-old singer/actor says, referring to her blonde-and-bubbly character in Disney's smash "High School Musical" films.

"So after I'd finished all the promotion for 'High School Musical 3' I dyed my hair back to its original color. I'd been a blonde for five years; Disney wanted us to be those characters. But the new songs I was working on felt edgier, sort of back to how I was before 'High School Musical.' I wanted to show people a side of me they haven't seen before."

Tisdale accomplishes that -- well, sort of -- on "Guilty Pleasure," due July 28 from Warner Bros. Like her 2007 debut, "Headstrong" (which, according to Nielsen SoundScan, has sold 471,000 copies in the United States), the new 14-track set offers plenty of catchy choruses and lyrics about boys.

Ashley Tisdale gives a fan a great big hug as she signs copys of her single CD at Wal-Mart on Tuesday afternoon (June 23) in South Jordan, Utah.

The 23-year-old singer updated her official website thanking all her fans who came out to see her. She wrote,

“I just want to thank everyone for coming out to see me at Wal Mart in Salt Lake City. Im so sorry I didn’t get a chance to meet everyone but I had to get on a plane to come home.

Thanks so much KZHT and Wal Mart for all their support. xo Ashley.”

Yet another passing of a great icon has happened — Michael Jackson.Former High School Musical starlet Ashley Tisdale reacted on her Twitter to the shocking news. She shared, “So sad. Saying a prayer for Michael Jackson. I have to say, the 6 of us from HSM were very lucky to have met such an amazing man.”

Ashley continued, “I will remember that moment forever. RIP Michael.”Monique Coleman tweeted, “so many tears for MJ.”Corbin Bleu also tweeted, saying, “Rest in peace Farrah Fawcett and my hero, Michael Jackson.”

She's been traveling the globe on a promotional effort, and last night (June 24) Ashley Tisdale arrived at Los Angeles International Airport with current boyfriend, music video director Scott Speer.Covering up from awaiting paaprazzi, the "High School Musical" starlet got shy upon arrival - staying close to Speer while using him and her cell phone as a shield from the cameras.

The album, being released by Warner Bros. The free concert will also feature an opening performance from Reprise Records' young and talented singing and dance group, V Factory. 
Always a fan-favorite, Ashley received a 2009 MTV Movie Award in the 'Breakthrough Performance, Female' category for her role in High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

Two-time Grammy nominee Imogen Heap will release her new solo album, Ellipse, August 25, via RCA Records. The British singer-songwriter began working on the new disc the same day she wrapped touring in support of her debut, Speak For Yourself.  Heap worked on the 13-track release while traveling through the Far East and recorded the disc in a new studio she built in the playroom of her old family home on the outskirts of London, England…

On what looks to be a Spanish talk show, High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale admitted to the host that she would like to get up close and personal with Barack Obama.“I would love to give him a dance,” the singer said.  The result?
